Talent Tracking turns a saved people list into a watch list. Choose a list, switch tracking on, and HelloSky keeps checking everyone on it. When someone joins a new company or steps into a new role at the same one, you get a card in the app and an email.
Who it is for
- Placed candidates: know when someone you placed moves on, before the client tells you.
- Shortlists you did not close: the runner-up who was not ready last year may be ready now.
- Portfolio and target executives: keep an eye on the finance, sales, or product leaders across the companies that matter to an engagement.
- Your network: the people you would call first when the right search comes in.
What counts as a move
Two kinds of change produce a card and an alert:
- Joins a new company: the person’s current employer is different from the one we had on record.
- Promoted or new position: same employer, different title, and the new role started recently.
Cosmetic changes do not: a company renaming itself, a title being reworded, or someone adding a board seat while keeping their day job. Talent Tracking also ignores roles that started more than six months ago, so stale data catching up never reads as breaking news.
Talent Tracking reports employer changes and promotions. It does not yet report people who have left a company without a new role on record.
How it stays current
Every person on a tracked list is re-checked against their public profile once a month, and HelloSky compares what it finds with what it last told you. Any refresh that happens sooner, for example when you open someone’s profile, is picked up too. You can see when a list was last refreshed on every list card.
Where to find it
Talent Tracking sits in the left navigation under Beacon. You can also start tracking straight from any people list with the Talent Tracking button in the list toolbar.
Talent Tracking is available to accounts that have it enabled. If you do not see it in the navigation, ask your HelloSky contact to switch it on for your team.
